Working with Oculus Pathology, specialists have a pathology partner who can correlate a patient’s outpatient biopsy/cytology results with inpatient surgical resection specimens. The same pathologist reviews the outpatient biopsy, of a suspicious mole, for example, as well as an inpatient surgical resection if further analysis is needed for diagnosis and treatment planning. This clinician continuity means our pathologists have a greater familiarity with a patient’s unique case and can deliver better continuity of care. Patient care is unified across the continuum, from outpatient through surgery.
Our local pathologists build relationships with specialists so you have access to consultation any time, and your patients have personalized care all the way through their care journey. Our goal is to provide a personal, consultative service to every specialist, every time so patient care is never routine or automated.
