Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Pathologist based in Lewes, Delaware. The General Pathologist will be responsible for providing diagnostic services across both anatomic and clinical pathology. Responsibilities include interpreting tissue and cytology samples, reviewing laboratory data, and collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to support patient care.
The position requires an M.D. or D.O. degree with board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Candidates must have or be eligible for an active, unrestricted Delaware medical license. Experience and fellowship training are a plus, particularly in Cytopathology or Hematopathology. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
Qualifications
- Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
- Eligibility for or active, unrestricted Delaware medical license
- Experience in general pathology practice (preferred)
- Fellowship training in Cytopathology or Hematopathology (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary medical teams
- Commitment to accuracy, quality, and professional integrity
