A large Texas health care system began partnering with the Oculus Pathology Lab in July 2022. The system also has on-site labs at two of its facilities and uses the Oculus Pathology Lab in addition to its own internal resources.

The partnership has significantly reduced turnaround times for pathology testing — delivering results faster for physicians and patients. The health system uses a nationally standardized reporting template from the College of American Pathologists and lab information system-integrated voice recognition system to expedite delivery of the pathology report.

The Oculus Pathology Lab immediately adopted these tools to provide a seamless experience for the health system’s providers and have additional resources to accelerate the delivery of pathology reports to clinicians.
