A board-certified pathologist in anatomic, clinical, and hematopathology and Oculus Pathology’s Treasurer of its Board of Directors, Dr. Kressin brings a deep understanding of both general and specialty pathology, with focused expertise in surgical pathology, hematopathology, and flow cytometry.

After earning her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Dr. Kressin completed her residency and dual fellowships in anatomic pathology and hematopathology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. There, she practiced as an assistant professor, diagnosing complex hematopathology cases across adult, pediatric, and transplant populations. Since 2012, she has continued that work in Austin and has been part of the Oculus Pathology team since 2018. Dr. Kressin’s approach is rooted in thoughtful, precise reporting and a commitment to serving hospitals, clinics and their patients.
In her current role, Dr. Kressin primarily staffs Seton Medical Center, collaborating directly with clinicians to deliver fast, accurate diagnostic results. In her role on the Board of Directors, she helps guide the organization’s continued growth and quality oversight.
“My goal is and always has been to support exceptional patient care through careful diagnostics and strong lab oversight,” Kressin said. “At Oculus Pathology, I get to do that in partnership with an outstanding team.”
With multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and years of hands-on leadership in both academic and private settings, Dr. Kressin is a skilled pathologist with providers across Texas relying on her expertise as a trusted resource for their patients.
